0:22 – Read the publication you’re pitching. Sounds obvious! Check about pages, twitter feeds, archives before shooting over your pitch.
1:13 – Also note the TONE of the publication your pitching. Don’t pitch a joke post to a serious website.
1:50 – Tell me why I should listen to you. You don’t have to be an “expert” but give me confidence that I can put you in front of our audience.
