How to get traffic to a new blog by guest posting in your niche.
This method is as follows:
1- Choose 2-5 keywords
2- Write a great article on your blog using these keywords
3- Write a great guest post using these exact keywords, which links to the article on your blog ideally via those keywords in the anchor text of the link
4- Get the guest post published on larger blogs in your niche
5- Repeat!
6- Over time (2 months or so) you will rank higher in Google
7- Bring organic traffic back to your blog and hopefully convert it into real followers
