Poland got a big surprise when the commuters got stuck in the middle of the highway yesterday after a tanker carrying liquid chocolate overturned and spilled tons and tons of chocolate on the road. 12 tons to be precise! If this doesn’t bum you out then trust me nothing will. What a massive waste of chocolate!
twitter This incident took place on the highway connecting the city of Poznan to Warsaw. Four lanes got covered in brown goo after the spill. The reason why the truck overturned is still not clear. However, because of this, lanes on both sides got obstructed for a long time. It didn’t end at that, soon after the spill, the liquid chocolate started drying up under the sun while the long lines of traffic started growing on both the sides. The authorities cited that it would take hours before the roads could be used again.

The footage from the scene showed that a bulldozer was scraping the brown sludge away using hot water. Many news channels said that this chocolate hazard could be more worse than snow.
